They’re only there for a month
Essex has plenty of pumpkin patches that are all worth exploring – but at how many of them can you go and visit four resident Highland cows! Isla, Joseph, Cat and Hamish are living inside Scott’s Pumpkin Patch during the month of October.
Scott’s of Southend in Sutton Road, Rochford, has an outdoor Pumpkin Patch, where visitors choose from pumpkins in different colours, shapes and sizes. It even has its own maize walk!
Alongside impressive seasonal displays and fantastic family photo opportunities, there is something truly unique – customers can go and visit the four adorable Highland cows living at the centre this month. Isla is the ginger mum and she is five years old.
She is the boss of the fold and makes it known with a flick of her horns! She loves her good a good brush and is an incredible mum to Joseph (ginger calf). Joseph is nearly 4 months old. He is very chilled, loves a cuddle and is absolutely perfect.
Catriona is the black mum and she is 5 years old. She is very calm and relaxed, she loves a cuddle and a brush. She is also a first time mum to Hamish (black calf) who is coming up to 14 weeks old. He is dopey, funny, playful and absolutely gorgeous!
The cows belong to Chloe from the Highland Hideout, who is passionate about local conservation and education. Customers wishing to come and see Isla, Joseph, Cat and Hamish can do so by booking tickets to Scott’s Pumpkin Patch via the Scott’s of Southend website, for those wanting to know more about all of Chloe’s cows and her experiences, they should visit Chloe’s website.
