The opening will create 45 new jobs for the area
A busy Essex high street is set to get its fourth chicken shop in a matter of days. Popeyes has announced that its first restaurant in Colchester will open its doors at 11am on Friday, September 11.
The new shop will open at 38 High Street and Popeyes says that it marks a significant investment in Colchester, creating 45 new jobs for the local area.
It also aims to give residents, workers and visitors a brand new destination to enjoy Popeyes’ Louisiana inspired menu. Tom Crowley, Popeyes UK CEO, said: “Colchester has a fantastic energy and we’re excited to be opening our first restaurant in the area.
“We can’t wait to welcome the local community through our doors and introduce even more people to our famous Louisiana hospitality, bold flavours and unmistakable Popeyes crunch.”
