Displays across the Victorian House and its stunning extension include local history and archaeology, art and local potters, 'Bright Sparks' the story of Chelmsford's industries, and natural history. Favourite exhibits include a live bee hive and Boris, a Russian brown bear.

Children can enjoy the interactive displays, and pick up a free quiz from reception to guide them around.  A £2 million development, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund will see the Victorian House transform with a new cafe, brand new displays and artefacts, and the chance for the community to curate their own exhibit. Don’t waste anymore time and come and see the beautiful things the museum has to offer.
