I may be biased as it’s a big part of my job, but I think Essex is incredible for food. No matter what kind of food you are looking for you will be able to find it here in our county.
We have countless amazing restaurants from authentic, family-run Italians to burger restaurants, sushi bars to proper British cafes, Essex really has it all. There are also plenty of options for all kinds of diets such as vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free and more.
2022 has been another great year for the food scene in Essex with a number of new restaurants opening on our streets. Here is a list of the restaurants that have opened in Essex this year.
