A brand new sushi and ramen restaurant has opened at Essex’s busiest shopping centre. Maki & Ramen, inspired by the hundred ramen-yas (ラーメン屋) or ramen shops of Japan, is a traditional Asian-inspired restaurant chain with multiple locations across the UK.
It has now opened at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Grays, next to Coco Asia. With a menu ranging from sashimi and maki to ramen and katsu curry, there’s a dish for everyone.
The eatery’s website said: “Our dedication to ramen is unmatched; every noodle is handcrafted with care, and our broth, a labour of love, is simmered for eight hours in our Edinburgh factory to achieve the most luxurious, deep-flavoured finish for our guests.”
Lakeside says of the news: “Your new foodie obsession is officially here! Maki & Ramen is now open at Lakeside Shopping Centre, serving up bold flavours and serious comfort food.
