JLS are playing at the Colchester Castle summer series in Lower Castle Park on Friday, August 28.
Formed in 2006, the group of Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Oritsé Williams and JB Gill, found widespread acclaim after appearing on The X Factor in 2008.
Since then, the group has earned a number one spot in the UK album charts with their self-titled debut album in 2009, and five UK number one singles.
The BRIT Award winners continue to sell-out arena tours, thanks to hits such as Beat Again, Everybody in Love, and She Makes Me Wanna.
Support will come from renowned soul and R&B artist Gabrielle, who enjoyed success in the 1990s and beyond thanks to many hits, including Dreams, Out of Reach, and Rise.
Other headliners include 80s music star Billy Ocean on August 20, Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper’s Hollywood Vampires on August 21, and Becky Hill on August 22.
Bastille will headline on August 23, followed by indie rocker Richard Ashcroft on August 27, and dance music icon Fatboy Slim on August 29.
General admission standing tickets cost £55.45.
