It’s perfect for the school holidays!
Brentwood is about 40 minutes from the nearest beach – but locals don’t need to worry, as the town has seen the return of its very own mini beach! The Baytree Beach has officially returned for the summer season.
Open daily from 10am to 4pm, weather depending, the popular attraction offers children the chance to dig, play and build sandcastles while enjoying the simple pleasures of a day at the beach. Complete with buckets, spades and plenty of sand, the beach provides a fun and free activity for families visiting the shopping centre throughout the summer months.
While little ones let their imaginations run wild, parents can relax on one of the deckchairs. The Baytree Beach is completely free to enjoy, located alongside the centre’s retail offering.
Maria Kyriacou-Edwards from The Baytree Shopping Centre commented: “We are delighted to welcome back The Baytree Beach for another summer. It has become a much-loved feature of the centre and it’s wonderful to see families creating special memories together while enjoying a little taste of the seaside right here in Brentwood.
“With free activities, our popular local market and a fantastic range of shops, there’s plenty to enjoy at The Baytree this summer and we look forward to welcoming visitors throughout the season.”
