Lucky winners will receive £1,000 for each ticket they hold.
The People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription-based lottery where people sign up with their postcode, paying £12.50 a month.
Their tickets are then entered into various prize draws every day, week, and month.
In the daily draws, 20 winning postcodes are picked, and each ticket within these postcodes wins £1,000.
There are also additional weekly and monthly draws where players can scoop up to £250,000, or even take part in the multi-million-pound “Postcode Millions” draws.
Plus, at least 30 per cent of the cost of each ticket supports good causes and charities all across Great Britain.
In the recent £1,000 daily draws, residents with tickets in these Essex postcodes have each won £1,000 for each ticket they hold:
- CO15 2HZ
- CO6 1JS
- CO6 4HN
- RM15 6HZ
- RM17 6WD
- SS5 6HW
Due to the postcode-based nature of the lottery, neighbours in a winning postcode often end up celebrating their wins together, with the full prize amount given to each ticket.
