Man rushed to hospital with serious injuries after three-vehicle crash

A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injures after a three-vehicle crash on the A13.

Police are currently at the scene of a serious collision on the A13 between Sadlers Farm and Pitsea, Essex.

The crash occurred at around 12.45pm this afternoon (Sunday, June 13) and an air ambulance also landed at the scene.

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries for treatment but these aren’t believed to be life changing or life threatening.

Both carriageways were initially closed while emergency services attended.

The London-bound carriageway has since re-opened.

The Southend-bound carriageway is slowly reopening a lane at a time, but motorists are still urged to avoid the area and make alternative routes where possible.
