The body of a man has been found pulled from a river just across the Essex border.
Suffolk police were called at 3.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, December 15), to a report that a body had been discovered.
Emergency services rushed to the River Gipping in Ipswich, just over the Essex to Suffolk border.
Officers attended the location near to Yeoman Close and with the assistance of Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, the body of a man was recovered from the water.
At this time the death is being treated as unexplained, but there are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.

The deceased man has not been formally identified, and it is not yet know how he came by his death.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have any information that could assist their investigation.
