Gemma Collins has written an emotional tribute to her ex Mick Norcross after he was found dead at his Essex home yesterday (January 21).
Emergency services rushed to Mick’s home in Brentwood Road, Bulphan shortly before 3.45pm on Thursday, but sadly despite all efforts, he was confirmed dead at the scene.
Essex Police say they are not treating his death as suspicious.
Following the sad news, dozens of celebrities, including past and present TOWIE stars, have paid tribute to Mick on social media.
Gemma Collins, 39, took to Instagram to remember him, sharing a lovely picture of them together.
It showed her staring at him lovingly and placing a hand on his chest as he smiled for the camera.
Former TOWIE star Gemma dated Sugar Hut boss Mick while they were both appearing on the show years ago.
She wrote on Instagram: “ALWAYS A GENTLEMAN. Absolutely shocked and saddened by the news my thoughts and prayers are going out to Kirk and his family and friends absolutely tragic#ripmicknorcross
“The memories of the early day,s the sugar hut and the wonderful filming parties you put on will never be forgotten. You never know what someone is going through. You was one of the good guys”.
The post has had move than 155,000 likes and over 2,000 comments.
Former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger commented: “Can’t believe it Gem x” and Chloe Meadows and Chloe Sims left heart and sad face emojis.

Mick joined the cast of TOWIE in the early series, appearing alongside his son, Kirk, as well as famous faces like Mario Falcone, Mark Wright and Lucy Mecklenburgh.
During his time on the show, he also dated his co-stars Chloe Sims and Maria Fowler, before quitting the reality show in 2013.
The devastating news of his passing came just hours after Mick had sent out a heart-wrenching final tweet, writing: “At the end remind yourself that you did the best you could. And that is good enough.”
Tributes have poured in with Mick’s former co-star James “Arg” Argent, writing: “A true gentleman & a very kind man! RIP Mick. Many amazing memories, So Sad! My thoughts are with his family.”
While Jess Wright, another former TOWIE favourite, said: “Terribly, terribly sad. Always such a gentleman and so kind. Devastated for him and his family.
“Sending love to them at this time. RIP Mick.”
