Female teen stabbed in Sainsbury’s car park

A female teenager has been stabbed in a Sainsbury’s car park tonight (Monday).

Police were called shortly after 4.10pm after they received reports of a stabbing in the supermarket parking area in Billet Lane, Hornchurch today (June 28).

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene and found a woman, believed to be 18, suffering from knife injuries.

The girl was taken to hospital where an update on her condition has not yet been given, reports MyLondon.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.

Video footage from the scene shows part of the Sainsbury’s car park cordoned off and police still at the scene.

A black car can be seen inside the police tape with its boot open.

Part of the car park has been cordoned off by police.

A crime scene remains in place as officers continue their investigation.
