Six Wetherspoons pubs won’t reopen for indoor dining next Monday – including one in Essex.
Pubs, restaurants and other hospitality venues will be able to open their doors to customers for inside eating and drinking from May 17, in line with Boris Johnson’s roadmap out of lockdown.
Many businesses have already opened for outdoor dining and drinking – with thousands across the county making the most of their local beer garden since April 12.
Wetherspoons will now join thousands of boozers across the country in opening their doors for inside dining for the first time this year. Around 860 of their pubs are reopening fully on Monday, reports the Mirror.
But six located at airports and conference centres will stay shut – including one at our very own Stansted Airport.
