A driver was arrested earlier today (Sunday, April 4) after police caught them travelling at 114mph on the M11.
The Essex Roads Policing team pulled over the vehicle after spotting it near Epping, Essex, exceeding the speed limit of 70mph for that stretch of road.
Having already fallen into the police’s bad books, the motorist then tried to lie to police about their identity.
The driver reportedly tried to give false details to officers.
