BBC Gardeners’ World Audley End: Popular gardening fair with street food and live entertainment returning to Essex this summer

Summer is a fantastic time to start thinking about how to spruce up your garden, but many people are looking for some inspiration. Luckily, fresh ideas for the garden are just around the corner as the BBC Gardeners’ World Autumn Fair returns to English Heritage’s Audley End House and Gardens, in Saffron Walden, this August!

The event will take place from August 29-31. It is set to be packed with seasonal garden inspiration and expertise from a line-up including Gardeners’ World presenter Adam Frost, Frances Tophill, Arit Anderson and Rachel de Thame.

Visitors can enjoy hands-on workshops, entertainment and shop for plants. Tickets include entry to Audley End House and Gardens, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join the fun in the outside areas.

Under 5s visit for free with great value family tickets available! There is plenty going on, including demonstrations of how to make the most of a small garden plot, mushroom growing msterclasses and sensory gardens, too.

Plant and garden shopping is a major attraction at the BBC Gardeners’ World Autumn Fair, with more than sixty specialist plant nurseries, growers and garden retailers to browse and buy from. From bulbs, baskets and water butts to tubers, trowels and tables, there’s little chance of going home empty-handed.

Feeling peckish? There are tasty eats and treats throughout the Fair, with street food options, the Good Food Market’s artisan producers, the English Heritage afternoon tea tent, alfresco coffee bars and cocktail stops, plus live bandstand entertainment.
